This is sweet and sour chilli fish which is so delicious that it will become your favourite once you try this dish. This is a fish version of chilli chicken.This fish recipe is quite different from other fish recipes. In this, firstly fish is being fried while coated with flour and then cooked with soy,chilli and sweet chilli sauce and with dry spices like black pepper.In this fish is soft in texture while peppers and onions are crisp which gives it amazing flavours and texture.

Ingredients For frying the fish
Fish 700 gm White flour around 3 tbsp
Onions 2 medium Gram flour 2 tbsp
Peppers 2 medium Water around 100 ml or as per consistency
Soy Sauce 2 tbsp Salt as per taste
Sweet chilli sauce 1 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
Chilli sauce 1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
Green Chillies 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Paprika 1/2 tsp
Salt According to taste
Cornflour 1 1/2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Water 100 ml accordingly
Cooking Instructions
Cut the fish fillets into small pieces.
Marinate the fish with little bit salt, black pepper, and paprika and keep it aside.
Now take the pan and add all the above ingredients for frying like gram flour,white flour and other ingredients with water to fry the fish.
Now add the fish into the batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
After frying the fish, keep it aside.
Now take the wok and add oil into it .
Add chopped garlic and onions and peppers into the oil.
Add chopped green chillies if you want.
Stir fry the vegetables for 5 to 8 minutes from high to medium flame.
Add some salt and dry spices like black pepper, paprika powder into it.
After few minutes add all the sauces and saute it for 5 minutes.
Now add cornflour into half cup of water and mix it well.
Now add this cornflour mix into the vegetables and saute it till it gets thicker in consistency.
When the water gets little bit dry then add fried fish and mix it gently.
Cook it just for few more minutes till it gets little dry.
If you want this recipe a little bit more wet then you can add more water into it as per your taste.
Cover the chilli fish for few minutes before serving it .
Notes
Check the consistency of the batter before frying the fish .It should not be very thick or too thin.
Adjust spices according to your taste.
I have used Frozen boneless fish fillets.
