About Me

Hi, I'm Kanchan Vaish Singh.

 

I'm the creator, author and photographer behind this food website. Presently, I'm studying Masters in Marketing at Oxford Brookes University. I also hold a Master's degree in Literature of English Language. 

Motivation for Blog

Inspired by my mother's cooking, I developed a passion for cooking. It is my belief that Cooking is Creative, Inspirational and bring best out of the person. 

My belief has motivated me to document my adventures with food. I always loved cooking different recipes and this website is a perfect spot to share my recipes with larger audiences. Post Covid-19 lockdown present me with opportunity to design a website from scratch for posting my recipes. Endeavour of this website is to create exciting food recipes without compromising on taste. For each recipe that I post, I try to provide its background, detailed ingredients and steps so that is easy to reproduce for all. 


About the Food I cook

All the recipes posted on kanchanfoodtales.com are cooked by me. I cook all my recipes from scratch and use fresh raw ingredients. It is my sincere appeal as well to all to use fresh ingredients in their cooking as well. A lot of my recipes are inspired by foods around the world and my Indian Heritage.
