Spanish Tortilla is a traditional and famous recipe from Spain. One of the signature dishes in Spanish cuisine, and very versatile egg recipe. It is a classic omelet dish filled with potatoes and sometimes onions can also be added in this recipe.
This classic dish is very quick and easy to cook. Traditionally, it is served as tapas in little squares. Spanish Tortilla is a very good, tasty option for breakfast and even brunch that can be eaten with anything like salads, breads or just with sauce.
In this recipe, potatoes are fried until crisp and golden brown in color. Then, mix with eggs and followed by salt and black pepper.

Ingredients
Eggs 6 to 7
Potatoes 3 to 4 medium
Olive oil 1 or 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Method
Firstly, wash and dice the potatoes into 1 inch pieces. Heat the oil in medium sized pan and when the oil is hot then add potatoes into it and cook them until golden brown and tender.
When the potatoes are done then take it out. Beat the eggs in large bowl and add salt and pepper into the eggs.
Now add cooked potatoes into the eggs and mix them together. leave it like this for about 5 to 10 minutes.
put oil in a pan and add eggs with potatoes when the oil is hot.
First cook the omelet on medium flame then let it cooked on low flame for around 5 minutes or until the bottom layer is golden brown in color.
Now place the big round plate on the top of the pan and flip the tortilla onto the plate while holding the pan tightly with your hands. Then slide the tortilla back into the pan very carefully, moving potatoes back into the pan along with the eggs.
Let it cooked for another 5 to 7 minutes on low flame and gently shaking the pan occasionally.
When the tortilla is ready then place it on the large plate gently.
Serve it with either salad or bread !
