Method

  1. In a bowl take small boneless chicken pieces and add soy sauce, an egg, salt and black pepper. Mix all together.

  2. Now add cornflour into the chicken and mix all ingredients well and keep aside.

  3. Take a deep frying pan and pour some oil into it. Heat the oil and fry the chicken in the oil.

  4. Fry it till golden brown in color and tender. When chicken is done then keep it aside for later use.

  5. Now take a wok or a shallow pan and add some oil into it. Add chopped garlic and dried red chilies and saute them.

  6. Add soy sauce and honey in the garlic and saute all together.

  7. Add salt and fry chicken pieces and toss them.

  8. Finally, add vinegar to the chicken and mix well while cooking from high to medium flame.

  9. At the end sprinkle some sesame seeds and spring onions on the honey chili chicken.

Serve it hot and eat it either as a starter or as a side dish with rice or noodles.


Notes

  1. Tbsp: Tablespoon

  2. Tsp: Teaspoon

  3. You can use any light soy sauce or vinegar that you like.

  4. Chicken thighs or chicken breast can be used depends on the personal taste.

  5. You can also toast the sesame seeds before using it.
