Mushrooms are a very famous food worldwide and almost all communities eat mushrooms in different ways. Mushrooms are packed with various nutrients which are good for our body. All types of edible mushrooms contain protein and fibres which is very beneficial for the health.
They are the good source of minerals and vitamins especially vitamin B. They are also good source of antioxidants like selenium which helps to store the immune system.
Today's recipe is my own recipe of mushrooms with very less oil and stir fried. This recipe is not only packed with delectable flavours but also cooked in a healthy way.
Served with mint sauce and onion salad, this mushroom dish is a must to try. It can be either eaten as a snack or as main meal and it's up to you that however you want to eat it.
It is very simple and less time consuming recipe which can be cooked in just few minutes.

Ingredients
Mushrooms: (Button) 300 gm
Oil: 2 tbsp
Paprika powder: 1/2 tap
Tandoori powder: 1 tsp
Salt (preferably black salt): as per taste
Chaat masala or lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste: 1/2 tbsp
Green chili paste: 1/2 tsp
Cooking Instructions
Take a deep pan and add oil into it. Heat the oil for few minutes on high flame.
Add the washed mushrooms into the oil and stir fry it on high flame for five 4 to 5 minutes.
Now slow down the flame on medium flame and start putting the ingredients.
First add the salt and all other dry ingredients one by one and mix all well.
Now add the ginger garlic and chilli paste and keep on stirring it till it gets a little soft.
After about 10 to 15 minutes turn the heat off and serve the mushrooms with mint sauce and onion rings.
For Mint sauce
Ingredients
Mint leaves fresh 10 to 15
Black salt as per taste
Garlic clove 1
Green chillis 2
Onion small to medium 1
Tomato small 1
Water half cup
Lemon juice half
Procedure
Take a Grinder machine and put mint leaves, onions, tomato, garlic, green chilli and water into it.
Grind it in a grinder to make a thick textured sauce.
Take out the mint sauce in a bowl and add salt and lemon juice into it and mix it well .
Keep the ready sauce in the fridge so that all ingredient mix well with each other.
Notes
You can also add coriander leaves in your sauce.
Chaat masala can be bought from any asian grocery shop but it is optional.
Use button mushroom for the crispness and texture.
